What You Will Do


The Artificial Lift Specialist will oversee the production training programs (ChampionX Production Academy).


Oversee Theta Production Automation and Optimization training programs including XSPOC and Rodstar product training.


Collaborate with subject matters experts throughout ChampionX to deliver internal and external trainings.

  • Oversee and coordinate all functions for the ChampionX Production Academy training programs for internal and external customers; including rod lift, PCP, ESP, Gas/Plunger lift, Optimization
  • Oversee Theta Production Automation and Optimization training programs including XSPOC and Rodstar product training.
  • Collaborate and partner with subject matters experts throughout ChampionX to develop and deliver internal and external trainings.
  • Developed marketing materials, pricing structure, & catalog to formally commercialize platform
  • Built out website to market offering and enhance front/back end process
  • Worked across product lines to identify & develop new offerings
  • Developed partnerships with large oil and gas operators and Petroleum Engineering universities
  • Conduct surveys to build out additional/improved training.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Four year college or university degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Preferred - Master's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience
  • 5 years of sales experience within oil and gas; preferred artificial lift software technology
  • Sales and marketing experience in the oilfield production field services
  • Ability to influence internal organization as well as customers to drive program success
  • Strong Interpersonal Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to meet and exceed assigned sales and booking objectives
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Strong strategic thinking, initiative and leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level. Ability to motivate a sales force to meet and exceed goals.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
