Position Summary


The Senior Recruiter. will act as a senior level individual contributor and may be tasked with providing technical oversight of junior recruiters. The Senior Recruiter. is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The role plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.

Key Accountabilities

  • Takes accountability of the entire recruiting process
  • Interfaces with the Hiring Managers, Human Resources and other key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction
  • Extend job offers and coach candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Leads initial consultations with hiring managers on requisition definition and potential sourcing strategies
  • Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, cold-calling, job board utilization, etc.)
  • Develops and implements sourcing strategies including advanced internet mining techniques
  • Develops and maintains extensive and effective networks within professional associations to ensure a continuous flow of candidates
  • Identifies, researches and initiates recruiting events
  • Source candidates using all available resources including Applicant Tracking System, social media, networking groups, local chambers, trade schools, colleges, and other outlets
  • Develops and maintains a high volume of referrals and a strong candidate pipeline
  • Conduct formalized and structured telephone screenings as well as interviews
  • Screens, presents and "sells" qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Manages hiring managers' expectations appropriately
  • Leads and/or participates in sourcing projects
  • Demonstrates solid business knowledge in multiple industries and effective business acumen
  • Executes accurate data capture and timely reporting on key staffing metrics
  • Maintains understanding and execution of diversity and quality requirement
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Detail-oriented and strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle a dynamic work environment within defined deadlines
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with consistent follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Motivated; a "self-starter"; able to work independently
  • Demonstrates high level of customer service skills when dealing with internal and external customers

Minimum Required Education

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. - Required
  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Minimum Required Work Experience

  • 3-4 years Recruiting experience - Required
  • 4-7 years Recruiting experience - Preferred
