IronSight is hiring a Manager of US Operations that will be responsible for growing and expanding IronSight’s Software as a Service (SaaS) presence across the US with an initial focus on the oil and gas value chain from drilling, completions and midstream to refining.

IronSight is a technology company that has developed a business agnostic, cloud-based platform that bridges the gap between demand and supply. The bridge created by the platform enables demand to plan, schedule and manage services with real-time visibility and control. Further, relevant documentation and workflows can be digitized and all data across the service value chain is captured and can be used to analyze services performance, spend, and support Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting.

Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has extensive knowledge of the oil and gas value chain and enterprise software, with experience in SaaS implementations preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an early-stage company, willing to wear multiple hats in effort to meet client expectations, motivated by growth, and who achieves results through their network of contacts, strong business acumen, and credibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working across the organization from the construction or well site to the c-suite while building and sustaining relationships at each level.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead customers through the initial sales process from initial contact to closing the sale then leading to execution of a contract
  • Build relationships with existing key accounts
  • Build a deep understanding of the IronSight platform and existing customer systems and processes in support of integration 
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and product team members to ensure implementation aligns with agreed upon scope of work, customer expectations, values, and business goals
  • Be the professional and knowledgeable resource that responds to customer needs
  • Create and lead execution of detailed business plans to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor, evaluate and select technology strategies that can be applied to future projects and services
  • Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensures that behavior and business practices align with the values of the Company
  • Translate strategy into initiatives and executable actions
  • Provide input and collaborate in optimizing internal business practices with the objective to drive efficiency and quality delivery
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technical and operational procedures, and plans
  • Participate in development of company specific operational guidelines and policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, computing science or related fields
  • Five plus years of sales, operations, or account management experience in a technical, B2B, or other highly consultative role
  • Ten years of energy or technology experience preferred
  • Ability to apply knowledge and problem solve across industries
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - ability to acquire the attention and trust of both senior/director-level executives as well as field supervisors and foreman
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record of positively influencing customer behavior
  • Ability to build a shared vision internally and with customers
  • Ready to leverage all your resources, people, skills, and technology to their fullest
  • Solid time-management and prioritization skills – ability to distinguish between the urgent, important, strategic, and tactical and prioritize your own work accordingly 
  • Comfortable working through ambiguous and complex problems
  • You are a team player - you actively work towards group success, not just your own
  • Ability delivering through others, internal or external
  • Strong understanding of computer programming and application development
