IronSight is currently looking for an Account Executive to join its business development operation. In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop and deliver effective sales strategies to seal the deal on large oil and gas accounts
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain high-value relationships with key stakeholders to grow revenue
  • Work with all IronSight teams (Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product) to create digital strategies for target accounts
  • Work on a team to execute strategic targeted sales campaigns in specific regions and sectors of the upstream oil and gas industry
  • Utilize a solution-oriented approach to win new business
  • Coordinate internal resources and play quarterback in your accounts to meet customer needs and represent the customer’s voice in product decisions
  • Achieve and exceed revenue goals on an annual basis, aka, crush it
  • Work with IronSight team members to support the renewal process by working with Customer Success and Account Executives to successfully execute upcoming renewals and work to prevent attrition
  • Learn (or know) the intricacies of the Oil & Gas data life-cycle and become a subject matter expert in the area working to understand customer's needs and providing service solutions. (Don’t worry, we have engineers, scientists and sales experts who will teach you everything you need to know.)

  • Contact and communicate with potential clients
  • Set and prepare for meetings to demonstrate IronSight’s value
  • Answer prospective client questions and offer value-based solutions
  • Write proposals and respond to bid opportunities
  • Meet and/or exceed revenue targets

What You Bring

  • An intrinsic motivation towards action
  • Skills in B2B SAAS sales moving clients to contract completion and revenue generation
  • An ability to see client objections as the opportunity to demonstrate solution value and to present that value effectively
  • A comfortable with measurement of your daily, monthly, and annual goals and targets
  • An aptitude and desire to engage and converse with new people and clientele
  • Skills in establishing and building client trust and loyalty
  • Understanding of the value of researching client companies you engage
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Hubspot, Slack, Google Workspace, Office 365, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and others
  • An ability to maintain accurate records
  • Bachelor’s degree marketing, business, communications, or relevant job experience
  • Work experience from several years in field operations within our industry and realize you hold the desire and a unique set of skills to shift into and apply to our business development role

About IronSight

IronSight is the vac truck-turned-software company. We initially built IronSight as an internal tool to dispatch our field team more efficiently and allow our oil and gas clients to send us job requests and track our trucks. In the early days, they jokingly referred to us as the Uber-of-the-oilfield. We eventually decided to sell our trucks and market the software to large energy producers struggling with the same problems we had. Over the years, IronSight has evolved into a platform for intelligent field operations that helps large industrial operations and service providers work more efficiently together.

Our apps take a job through its entire life cycle: from request, to scheduling, to execution, to field ticketing, and finally to analytics. Coordinators have a birds-eye view of workers, tasks, and assets in the field. Several of the world’s largest energy producers are currently using IronSight in partnership with their service providers. Our long-term goal is to transition IronSight into a marketplace that enables cross-organization collaboration. In simple terms, we want energy producers to discover and send jobs to service providers, then track them as they execute the work. We want both parties on this two-sided platform to become more efficient through improved communication, elimination of manual processes, and application of business intelligence and AI/ML to the data collected from the field.
